Vegan chocolate tart

Are you a chocolate lover? Then you can thank us in advance because this no-bake chocolate tart is first of all very easy to prepare, it only needs to set in the fridge, and you only need six(!) ingredients. The cake is vegan, gluten-free and sweetened only with dates. You could even call it healthy! As we said, you're welcome!


  • 1 can of coconut milk

  • 100 grams of dark or vegan chocolate

  • 150 grams of almonds

  • 30 grams of cocoa powder

  • 10 Medjoul dates

  • coconut oil


What do you need? A cake tin, food processor and a saucepan.

Heat the coconut milk in a saucepan, when it boils, remove the pan from the heat and add the chocolate in pieces. Keep stirring until it is completely melted, and a smooth brown substance is formed. Add 2 more tablespoons of coconut oil. Set aside.

Then mix the almonds, dates, cocoa powder with 3 tbsp coconut oil in a food processor. When everything is well mixed, cover the bottom of the cake pan with the mixture. Press it down well using your hands. Finally, pour the chocolate-coconut mixture over it and let it set in the fridge for at least 2 hours! Cut into wedges and garnish with a little more cocoa powder and possibly some red fruit on the side.
